My favorite chore as a youngster was setting the table. It sparked my love for dishes and tableware. I started collecting china, stemware and silver over 30 years ago and have never stopped.
What I love most about The Vintage Dish is sharing joyful echoes from celebrations past through china.
Lots of dishes in my collection started life as wedding gifts for brides. These plates have been cherished. They've been used for holidays and special occasions. Occasions where the host or hostess offered a toast to the guest of honor, sang happy birthday or gave heartfelt thanks for the many blessings in their lives.
That collective joyful spirit is what I adore about setting the table with vintage dishes. Combining the love from celebrations past with the love present in our celebrations now.
I'm passionate about bringing as much joy to your event as I possibly can, through the heirlooms in my china cupboard.
